March 2020: Just over a month ago (can it only be a month?!)  Plastic Free Faversham had some great news - we won the Environment category at Swale Volunteers Award! 😊

We were amazed and humbled by how many nominations there were - over 80 if my memory is right - with such a range of passionate and inspiring groups and individuals, committed to supporting their communities.

Thank you Swale Borough Council for organising the event, and Optivo for sponsoring our award.

September 2019: PFF took part in a very successful Mass-Unwrap in association with Surfers Against Sewage, encouraging shoppers from Sainsbury's and Morrison's to discard any unnecessary packaging from their shopping

March 2019: Challenge week is back - our stall was a great success and the displays in 12 Market Place showed us all just how far we'd come since PFF began in November 2017. Everyone got stuck in with another litter pick.

June 2018: It was a perfect day for a liltter pick. So many Favershamites turned out including the fire brigade, joggers, a dog, the young and the old. It was a great success!

February 2018: Our first Challenge Week! Raising awareness and challenging the people of Faversham to make changes in their use of single-use plastic.
