Who are we? what are our Values?

Who we are!

We are a group of Faversham based people, who share the same concerns about the growing problem of plastics in our environment. We meet once a month at the pub to discuss new and existing projects with the broad aim of raising awareness about the Plastic issue and other pressing Green issues, oh and sometimes we have a drink too!

New additions to our team and new ideas for projects are always welcome and if you have an idea for a project which helps to reduce single-use plastic in Faversham then please do get in touch.

Our

Vision,

Mission,

& Values

Vision

Our vision is to create a regenerative community where waste is part of a circular economy - everything produced is re-used, repaired, composted or recycled – to protect the natural environment, its resources, people and wildlife.

Mission

Our mission is to mobilise the people of Faversham to challenge our throwaway culture and promote a sustainable, regenerative community and circular economy.
We aim to do this by:

  • Raising awareness and inspiring young and old to take action

  • Engaging and working with the local community, schools, councils, community groups, businesses and environmental organisations, to promote sustainable practice

Values

  • We commit to working inclusively with and for all parts of our community

  • We remain open to new views and ideas
